Bio
André Sirangelo is a Brazilian screenwriter based in London, with over 15 years of experience across film, television and comic books.
For TV Globo, he wrote for The Gold Hunt, a crime drama co-created by Bráulio Mantovani (City of God), and for four seasons of the medical drama Under Pressure, defined by Variety as “the highest-profile international series from Latin America’s biggest TV player”. The show achieved award recognition worldwide, including an International Emmy Awards nomination.
His other credits include the second season of 3%, Netflix’s first Brazilian original series, and Antártida, currently in production as Globoplay’s biggest-budget original film.
He is the co-creator and writer of the graphic novel The Last Broadcast, published in the US and the UK by BOOM! Studios.
Holding a degree in Communications from Faculdade Cásper Líbero and a Master’s degree in Film from the University of London, he also works as a translator, script consultant and project developer for the global market.
